Kyiv City State Administration will allocate UAH 40 million for major repairs of exterior lighting of streets in the one-and-a-half kilometer zone around Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv and also other districts of Kyiv, reads a press release of Kyiv City State Administration, referring to the Kyivmiskrada communal enterprise.
In the near future, major repairs to street lighting will start on exterior lighting of 606 properties, where about 3,000 light fittings and 2,500 lamps will be replaced, with energy-efficient lamps being fitted instead of mercury lamps.
The completion of this work is planned on December 2011.
