Ukraine does not intend to drop the Crimean issue, deputy head of the presidential administration Valeriy Chaly has said.

“The normalization of relations between Ukraine and Russia in the
future, and of the EU and Russia is impossible without ending the
illegal annexation of Crimea. We are not going to push this issue to the
back burner, this matter has been adequately reflected in the sanctions
list introduced by the EU and the U.S.,” Chaly said in a briefing on
Wednesday, July 30.

According to him, the Crimean issue is on the agenda and the official
position of Ukraine is “that the Crimea has been, is and will be
Ukrainian.” “It will take time, but we are now working on a legal
package that will make this solution possible in the future,” Chaly
said.
