I have noticed that no one complained that this restaurant was full of men who didn't helped this woman. Four guys appeared to be playing cards while she was being assaulted directly in front of them. The waitress was still serving the girl's table as the woman was dragged ascross the room. That would leave me to believe that things like this happen all the time. Which means the society has bigger problems than a spoiled rich guy.

Landik beats up camera: exclusive report!

Landik, the son of Ukrainian oligarch Volodymyr Landik, struck a camera at court today while on trial over his assault of Maria Korshuova.

After the trial, Landik accused the camera of assaulting him, and that his attack was to restrain the camera from further attacking him. Landik also stated that the camera, one of many at the event, had singled him out and was constantly 'watching' him before the assault occurred.

Footage of the assault clearly shows Landik hitting and damaging the camera, causing severe concussion and a loss of battery. However, Landik's father states that the video footage is clearly a fraud.

Landik is offering to pay Hr 25,000 to the camera in an attempt to stave off a lawsuit by the camera for damages.

Cheap bastard. I hope the camera holds out for at least Hr 250,000.

Landik's father offered the camera Hr 50,000 to "tell the truth in court."

Both of the Landiks demanded that a criminal investigation be opened against the camera for "exceeding the government."

Landik, Jr. started shouting that he would rather be shot than be held in court.

The camera responded that it had already tried to shoot video of Landik, Jr., and that Landik, Jr. is a liar, because he really didn't want any video shot of him.

Camera involved in Landik case destroyed in mysterious car accident.

A camera accused of hitting Landik Jr. was destroyed in a mysterious car accident today. The event occurred shortly after an alleged meeting between the camera and Landik Sr. where Landik Sr. urged the camera to tell the truth regarding the alleged assault made by Landik Jr. on the camera. It is believed that 20 minutes after the camera turned down a Hr. 50,000 offer to tell the truth.

The accident, which destroyed the camera, was said to involve a stolen Mercedes.

In other news, Landik Sr. is offering to not run anyone off the road who is willing to say a nice thing about him or his son.

The affair involving Roman Landyk and indirectly his father Volodymyr is a nauseating symptom of a greater problem that has permeated the Party of Regions. (Note: Certain members of other Parties in Ukraine are not immune from this defect but are currently less pronounced). The combination of ever increasing power and wealth has been instrumental in the promotion of arrogance and lawlessness particularly within the Ukrainian establishment and especially within the Government and its Party of power. Only a massive movement from the people of Ukraine opposing this oppression coupled with a new morality and a new Constitution can rid the motherland from the governance of depraved derelicts.
