Riga – Latvian President Andris Berzins won't visit Kyiv for the upcoming events that will be held in honor of the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, the Latvian president's press secretary told BNS agency.

No personal invitations were sent for the event, there was only a public invitation, she said.

Latvian Prime Minister Laimdota Straujuma will represent his country instead.

During his visit, Straujuma will meet with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
