The launch of the Ukrainian satellite Lybid-1 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.

According to the Web site of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, earlier the regulator met with representatives of state enterprise Ukrkosmos, at which the date of launch of the satellite was agreed.

The current legislation should be amended for the launch of the satellite, and the National Council should initiate the changes.

As reported, previously the launch of the first Ukrainian communications satellite Lybid was postponed until the end of this year for technical reasons.
