MOSCOW - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and United States Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the Iranian nuclear problem and the situation in Ukrainian at their meeting in Vienna on Nov. 24.

“There was a substantial discussion of further steps aimed at facilitating a swift comprehensive solution to the issues relating to the Iranian nuclear program,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Significant focus was on the regional situation in the Middle East, the statement said.

“There was an intensive exchange of views over the situation in Ukraine, including progress in implementing the Minsk agreements,” the statement said.
