Now the warning about the danger of self-treatment is the obligatory condition of medicine advertising, according to the law on amending Article 21 of the law on medicine advertising signed by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, according to the presidential Web site.
As reported, a relevant law was adopted by 285 votes at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on April 19. According to the changes, the advertising of all medicines should include the warning about the danger of self-treatment. The law comes into force in three months after its publication.
