Moscow – Ukraine's investigating authorities are initiating an investigation into the possible abduction of opposition activist Leonid Razvozzhayev.
“Kyiv prosecutor’s office instructed investigating authorities to conduct an investigation into Razvozzhayev’s abduction,” lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday, Dec.20.
“There’s a new criminal code in Ukraine, and they have no concept of pre-investigation checks. There will be an investigation, and then someone will be charged or acquitted,” the lawyer said.
