You're reading: List of Russian journalists who may be denied entry in Ukraine published in Kyiv

The Ukrainian National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council has published a list of journalists and heads of Russian television channels who may be denied entry in Ukraine.

There are 49 people on the list, which the regulator has provided to the Ukrainian Security Service and which was published at a briefing held at the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council on Aug. 28.

The list included the following persons:

Director General of Channel One Russia Konstantin Ernst;

Director General of Channel One Russia Worldwide Network Alexei Yefimov;

Head of South Bureau of Channel One Russia Yulia Chumakova;

Head of Channel One Russia Israel Bureau Iraida Zeinalova;

Head of Channel One Russia Sochi Bureau Ivan Prozorov;

Channel One Russia journalists Mikhail Leontiev, Ekaterina Andreyeva, Aleksandra Yevstigneyev, Vitaliy Yeliseyev, and Petr Tolstoy;

actor and screenwriter Ivan Okhlobystin;

Director General of Russia Today Dmitry Kiselev;

Editor in Chief of Russia Today Margarita Simonyan;

Director General of RTR-Planeta Oleg Dobrodeyev;

Head of International Relations Department of RTR-Planeta Petr Fedorov;

Director of Ukrainian Office of RTR-Planeta Alexander Balitsky;

RTR-Planeta journalist Maksim Kiselev;

Director General of TV Tsentr Channel Yulia Bystritskaya and journalists of the channel Alexei Pushkov, Vera Kuzmina and Anna Prokhorova;

Director of “Russia” Channel Anton Zlatopalsky and journalists of “Russia” Channel Yevgeniy Popov, Andrei Kondrashov, Salima Zarif, and Boris Kochevnikov;

Editor in Chief of “Russia 24” Yevgeniy Bekasov, “Russia 24” journalists Evelina Zakamskaya and Vitaliy Artunian;

Director General of NTV Vladimir Kulistikov, NTV journalists Kirill Pozdniakov, Andrei Kunitsyn, Anastasia Litvinova and Maksim Berezin;

Head of Foreign Broadcast Department an NTV World Sergey Skripnikov;

Director General of Ren-TV Irina Varlamova and Ren-TV journalists Andrei Dobrov, Ekaterina Agafonova, Stanislav Grigoryev and Ilia Doronov;

Director General of LifeNews Ashot Gabrelyanov and LifeNews journalists Ermina Katondzhyan, Anatoliy Suleimanov, and Semen Pegov;

Director General of Petersburg 5 Channel Alexei Brodsky;

President of Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) media holding Alexei Pimanov and journalists Sergey Dorenko, Vladimir Soloviev and Arkadiy Mamantov.

Yuriy Artemenko, the head of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council, said decisions on entry denials will be made and the list of individuals denied entry to Ukraine will be published by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU).

Artemenko added that according to his data, the SBU had already denied entry to about 20 people in the above-mentioned list.
