You're reading: List of Russians banned from coming to Ukraine may grow

Ukrainian Culture Minister Yevhen Nyschuk has not ruled out the possibility that the list of Russian citizens barred from entering Ukraine may be increased.

“This list falls under the purview of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Ministry and the Prosecutor General’s Office. If they see that other people have blatantly violated our values, they will be authorized to extend this list,” Nyschuk told Interfax.

On Oct. 28, the Ukrainian cabinet approved a list of 14 people who became personae non grata over their anti-Ukrainian position, but international rules prevent the country’s authorities from disclosing the names on the list.

According to Russian media, the Russian citizens blacklisted by Ukraine include showbiz star Iosif Kobzon, actor Ivan Okhlobystin and satirist Mikhail Zadornov.
