Another group of Lithuanian military experts has departed for Ukraine to train Ukrainian military personnel.

Fifteen servicemen of the Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanized Infantry Battalion have left for Ukraine to train Ukrainian military personnel at the Yavoriv training ground in Lviv region, the Defense Ministry of Lithuania has reported.

Upon their arrival in Ukraine, the Lithuanian officers and non-commissioned officers will participate in the multinational program on training Ukrainian military personnel under the guidance of the United States.

The Lithuanian instructors, together with U.S. instructors, will train Ukrainian mechanized infantry and staff personnel, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said.
