Early elections for local government agencies are impossible in Ukraine under the current law, parliamentary candidate from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Mykola Tomenko has said.
“Under the current law, early elections for local councils are impossible, as lawyers tell us… We already know that local elections will be held, as stipulated by the current legislation, in October 2015,” he told journalists in Kyiv on Nov. 12 after coalition talks.
