The average attendance at stadiums during the matches of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship in Ukraine and in Poland is 98%.

“We’re very pleased with the sales of tickets for the matches in the two countries. The average attendance at a stadium is 98%,” UEFA Euro 2012 Tournament Director in Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivsky said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday, June 25.

He said that tickets went on sale for the June 27 semi-final match between Spain and Portugal in Donetsk. These are the tickets that haven’t been sold or were returned by federations of the countries, whose teams were eliminated from the tournament. Tickets for the semi-finals can be bought at offices of Ukrsotsbank and at the box office of Donbass-Arena Stadium.

At the same time, Lubkivsky said that tickets for the finals weren’t available yet. “The final is a very special match, and the event is on a special scale,” he added.
