OSCE mission employees, during their visit to the Luhansk border detachment, have been provided with evidence of the shelling of a maneuver group from Russian territory, the press office of the State Border Service of Ukraine has reported.

“The mission’s delegation first visited the camp at a section of the
Krasna Talivka detachment, which came under fire twice. The delegation
was presented with evidence of the shelling of a maneuver group from
Russian territory, namely with the involvement of an artillery
specialist, where fuses from a 122-mm projectile and fragments of 152-mm
shells were found. The position of a fuse helped determine the
direction of its flight, namely from Russian territory,” the service
said in a statement on Thursday, Aug. 7.

Later, the delegation visited the Krasna Talivka international border
crossing point near the facilities that were damaged during an act of
sabotage by Russia.

During the second, roundtable meeting the leadership of the Luhansk
border detachment provided the head of the OSCE mission with photo and
video evidence of attacks on Ukrainian territory from Russia.

“Following the meeting, the head of the OSCE mission said he had no
doubt about the veracity of the information and evidence provided by the
leadership of the detachment. The delegation said that it would soon
send a progress report to European institutions,” the service said.
