The leadership of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) has not ruled out that the local elections may be held there in February and later in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

“A new date for the elections will most likely be set for February. As far as we know, our Donetsk partners will hold their elections later,” a source in the LPR government told Interfax.
