You're reading: Luhansk People’s Republic turns down OSCE monitors’ request to provide evidence of their arms withdrawal

Representatives of self-proclaimed 'Luhansk People's Republic' have turned down a request of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine to provide a detailed information on deployment of the heavy arms, which have been withdrawn from a conflict zone, reads the mission's report issued on March 30 (as of 6 p.m. on March 29).

According to the report, the monitors met Ukrainian and Russian Armed Forces at Joint Center for Control and Co-ordination office to receive detailed information about location of the heavy arms in a conflict zone that is under control of the ‘Luhansk People’s Republic’.

“Nevertheless, the SMM received any of such information,” reads the report.
