The tenth World Congress of Ukrainians will be attended by delegates from constituent organizations of the Ukrainian World Congress, which now operate in 33 countries, representatives of over 14 countries with which the UWC supports communication, as well as broad Ukrainian public from Ukraine and the diaspora.

“The tenth World Congress of Ukrainians is dedicated to the remembrance of the victims of the Holodomor genocide of 1932-33 during its 80th anniversary. Therefore, on August 20, 2013, a ceremony of millions of Holodomor victims will be held after the first plenary session, near the monument to Taras Shevchenko. Then, Lviv Solomiya Krushelnytska National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater will host the grand opening of the tenth World Congress of Ukrainians,” reads the statement.
