Maidan activists are trying to vacate the building of the Ukrainian Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry on Khreschatyk Street, which was seized a few days ago by representatives of the Spilna Sprava (Common Cause) movement.

“Yesterday the Maidan’s council unanimously decided to release the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry, and nobody was against this. Today the Maidan is implementing this decision. The Maidan is releasing the ministry building from looters,” the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union told Interfax-Ukraine.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that there were about 200 people near the entrance to the ministry building. Among them there are several dozen people from the Maidan’s self-defense, who, under a decision of the Maidan’s committee, came to agree with Spilna Sprava activists on vacating the premises of the ministry.

Negotiations on this issue are currently continuing. It is impossible to get into the building from Khreschatyk Street.

According to eyewitnesses, sounds were heard in the building, which they regarded as shots or explosions. There are no victims and doctors.

At the same time, people on social networking sites reported that Svoboda activists formed a corridor to remove Spilna Sprava activists from the building. One of the photos shows water flowing out of the building.
