The death toll of the Jan. 24 attack on Mariupol, Donetsk region, has grown to 31, chief of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's department in Donetsk region Viacheslav Abroskin wrote on Facebook on Jan. 28.

“As of today, the shelling of the Mariupol Skhidny neighborhood has killed 31 persons and another 108 suffered injuries of varying degrees,” he wrote.

According to Abroskin, shelling victims keep seeking medical attendance.

Earlier reports said the shelling of Mariupol by militants killed 30 and wounded over 100.
