Moscow - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has called the Malaysia Airlines flight crash in Ukraine "a big tragedy" and said he was mourning the dead.

“My deepest condolences over the Malaysia Airlines flight crash in Ukraine,” the premier wrote on Facebook.

“The tragedy took lives of several hundreds of people from various
countries; it is a heartbreak for everyone who have lost their near and
dear today,” he said.

“I am mourning the dead,” the prime minister wrote.
