Melnychenko position could be right. Lytvyn's has a lot to lose based on the fact that he is implicated along with Kuchma in the murder of Gongadze. Lytvyn could take care of two foes at the same time by killing Melnychenko and placing the blame on Yanukovych. I am surprise that Melnychenko spend that much time in Ukraine knowing that he was a target by either by Kuchma or Lytvyn. Yanukovych needs to pay more attention to those around him for they cannot be trusted just like himself. There are traitors full of ambition all around Yanukovych and he is the creator of the evil around him.

why should or would anyone believe melnychenko about death threats? he has used the same excuse dozens of times since 2000.

How i it that Kychma is being charged with a serious offence and he is not in detention, yet Lutsrnko is deyained pending the outcome of his trial. And whay i9s it that Yushenko is not being charged with misuse and abuse of his office when he was President of Ukraine?
