Kharkiv – SK Stadium Metalist LLC, which did not fulfill its liabilities under the sale and purchase agreement of the Metalist stadium, demands the return of 110 million Hr to the company for the failed purchase, Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council Serhiy Chernov has said.
‘The regional council received information and the relevant claim that the company that was a candidate for the purchase of the Metalist stadium filed a counterclaim to return 110 million Hr… The court has not yet scheduled a hearing on the case,’ Chernov said at a press conference on Monday, Sept. 22.
‘I don’t understand how this could happen under Ukrainian law, this is impossible,’ he added.
As reported, the economic court of Kharkiv region issued a ruling under claim of the deputy prosecutor general in the interests of the state in the person of Kharkiv Regional Council against SK Stadium Metalist LLC and canceled the sale and purchase agreement for the Metalist stadium.
The court did not satisfy a claim to collect a penalty of 134.9 Hr million from the defendant, as was foreseen in the agreement.
Prosecutor General’s Office filed a counterclaim against a ruling to cancel the collecting of the penalty.
