The military hardware that was involved in the Aug. 24 parade on the 23rd anniversary of Ukraine's independence in Kyiv has headed to the area of the anti-terrorist operation in the country's east, the press service of the Ukrainian president says.

The report says that the parade featured Kraz Koguar APC manufactured by Kremenchuk auto plant, BTR 3E and BTR 4E APC developed by Malyshev Plant in Kharkiv, Igla MANPADs, antitank guns, Smerch multiple rocket launchers, and Osa short-range surface-to-air missile systems.

An Interfax correspondent reports that the convoy of military vehicles in Kyiv’s main street included modern weapons and military vehicles of the Ground and Air Forces and the National Guard.
