As of August 15, 2015 Ukrainian municipal heating supply companies have stocked 352,300 tonnes of coal or 68.5% of the planned volume and 54,500 tonnes of fuel oil or 64.28% of the target for the 2015/16 heating season.
he Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry reported, referring to information from town administrations in the regions, work to prepare boilers and central heating distribution stations for the heating season is done by 70.5-75%.
A total of 15,796 boilers have been prepared or 75% of the planned number, 3,892 of central heating distribution stations or 74.66%, and 232 kilometers of pipelines of the heating network or 73.4% of the planned volume have been replaced.
Some 446 of boiler stations or 72.6%, 166 boilers or 71.9% have been repaired and 680 or 70.5% of boilers have been replaced.
The ministry said that it was planned to prepare 21,073 boiler stations and 5,213 central heating distribution stations and replace 316 kilometers of pipelines for the 2015/16 heating season.It is planned to replace 964 boilers and overhaul 614 boiler stations and 231 boilers, as well as to stock 475,000 tonnes of coal and 84,800 tonnes of fuel oil, the ministry said.
