You're reading: Minsk agreements participants should work together on mine clearance

The conflict parties in Donbas should work together on mine clearance in the security zone as required by the Minsk agreements, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) said.

The sights that have signed the Minsk agreements agreed that the security zone should be cleared of mines and they will work together to achieve this goal, the press service for the OSCE SMM told reporters on Nov.25.

The SMM continues to promote the debate on the most suitable measures to resolve the mine danger issue with participants in the working group on security issues in the Trilateral Contact Group, the press service said.

The SMM more than once promoted mine clearance efforts, including clearing the eastern road leading to Shyrokyne of mines on Nov. 13, the press service said.
