You're reading: More than 60 towns and villages in Ukraine remain without power

As of early morning on Saturday a total of 64 settlements remain without power in Ukraine.

In six regions bad weather (rain, snow and sleet) caused power outages in 64 towns and villages, the press service of the state emergencies service has reported.

Some 20 towns and villages have blackouts in Ternopil region, 14 in Zakarpattia region, 10 in Kyiv region, 10 in Rivne region, seven in Chernihiv region and three in Volyn region.

Regional electricity companies’ teams are working on restoring electricity supplies.
