Moscow on Friday slammed Ukraine for denying entry into the country to 47 Russian air passengers and two members of air crews this month.

from international acts and conventions on human rights and safety
regulations for international civil aviation,” the Foreign Ministry said
in a statement.

“The Russian side urges the Ukrainian side to fully comply with current cooperation agreements on air transportation.”

The statement said the ministry sent a note to the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow on Friday.

The note said, citing Aeroflot Russian Airlines, “which has been
appointed on behalf of the Russian Federation to carry out regular
flights to destinations on Ukrainian territory with the aim of
delivering passengers, cargo, baggage and mail there, that the Ukrainian
border guard service has been refusing to let passengers and
crewmembers aboard aircraft belonging to the Russian carrier.”

“The Ukrainian border guard service committed these unlawful acts
between March 4 and March 14, 2014, in regard to 49 nationals of the
Russian Federation (47 passengers and two crewmembers) who were on

Odesa,” the ministry statement said.
