Servicemen of the 79th separate airmobile brigade involved in the anti-terrorist operation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions have been ambushed. Two officers died and another 21 were injured, the Nikolaevskiye Vesti online edition said, citing its own sources.
Some of the injured servicemen have been taken to a hospital.
Sources cite different information as to where the clash has taken
place. Some tweeted that the clash occurred near Sloviansk, Donetsk
region. Some other online editions said it happened on the border of
Donetsk and Rostov regions.
The 79th separate airmobile brigade is stationed in Mykolaiv.
