Ukraine's Naftogaz has paid Russia's Gazprom another $20 million for April gas supplies, Naftogaz told Interfax.

“We paid $20 million to Gazprom on April 9,” its press office said.

Naftogaz paid Gazprom $30 million for April gas on April 2.

Naftogaz and Gazprom on April 1 signed a supplement to their gas contract to prolong some aspects of the Brussels agreements until June this year. The actual price for supplies of gas in the second quarter will be reduced in accordance with the Russian government resolution on customs duties and will total $247.18 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The signed supplement does not have any effect on the legal positions of the sides in the litigation in Stockholm.
