National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy saw Hr 17.957 billion in net loss in 2013, while its net loss in 2012 amounted to Hr 31.466 billion, the holding said in an audited report conducted under international financial reporting standards (IFRS), which was published on March 27.

In 2013, Naftogaz Ukrainy net loss fell by 42.9 percent or Hr 13.509 billion compared to 2012.

According to the report, sales revenue reached Hr75.899 billion in 2013 and Hr 105.038 billion in 2012.

A total of Hr 63.44 billion was received from wholesale and retail trade with natural gas in 2012; Hr 32.594 billion from gas transportation (including Hr 23.179 billion from international transit); Hr 6.578 billion from refining crude oil and gas condensate; Hr 1.23 billion from oil transportation; Hr 336 million from oil and gas condensate production; Hr 233 million from gas production, Hr 227 million from gas storage, and Hr 596 million of other revenue.

A total of Hr 36.447 billion was received from wholesale and retail trade with natural gas in 2012; Hr 30.315 billion from gas transportation (including Hr 22.732 billion from international transit); Hr 5.778 billion from refining crude oil and gas condensate; Hr 1.411 billion from oil transportation; Hr 510 million from oil and gas condensate production; UAH 446 million from gas production, Hr 443 million from gas storage, and Hr 549 million of other revenue.

Gross loss was Hr 1.283 billion in 2013 and Hr 7.475 billion in 2012.

Naftogaz Ukrainy unites oil and gas production assets in Ukraine, and is the country’s gas transit, underground gas storage, and oil pipeline transportation monopoly.
