The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has noted there is terrorist threat throughout Ukraine, but stressed all security and law enforcement agencies are working to prevent terrorist acts.

“From the first day of an undeclared war in Donetsk and Luhansk regions criminals’ and terrorists’ access to using explosives is continuing,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv.

Nalyvaichenko stressed that militants are trying to “shift their activities to other regions.”

He noted that all law enforcement agencies are on high alert.

According to Nalyvaichenko, the work of the anti-terrorism center and all law enforcement agencies is also aimed at preventing terrorist threats throughout Ukraine.

The head of the security service also said that “they jointly with the Interior Ministry are developing a plan to protect railways.”
