The Ukrainian village of Stepanivka located in Donetsk region on the border with Russia has been completely ruined by the fire from Grad multiple rocket launchers from the Russian territory, spokesman for the information and analytical center of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Lysenko has said.

“Yesterday, the village of Stepanivka, which is home to more than a thousand civilians, was completely demolished after being shelled from Grad multiple rocket launchers by Russia,” Lysenko said at a briefing on Monday.

The NSDC has yet no data about casualties in this village, he added.

Lysenko also said that positions of the ATO forces were still being shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation and attempts to illegally enter the territory of Ukraine by Russian mercenaries continued.

According to Lysenko, on August 10, Russians fired at the Ukrainian border checkpoints Uspenka, Krasna Talivka, Melove, Ivanivka.
