NATO delegation headed by Chairman of NATO Military Committee Knud Bartels has come to Ukraine with a two-day working visit, according to the Defense Ministry's website.

The visit will include a number of working meetings of the NATO representatives with the leadership of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine (NSDC), the Defense Ministry and the General Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The aim of the visit is to support military and political dialogue on the highest level, discuss separate issues of the Ukraine-NATO special partnership in defense and military sectors and show NATO’s support of Ukraine.

The delegates learned about the military and political situation in Ukraine and the progress of the anti-terrorist operation in the country’s east. “The NATO representatives received the information about the preliminary conclusions and the experience of holding the anti-terrorist operation, the reform of the management system and the opinions on certain aspects and prospects for military cooperation,” the report reads.
