 Russian media reports that there are NATO militants among the Ukrainian troops are total fabrication, NATO's Spokesperson Oana Lungescu has reported. "Russian media claims that NATO troops/advisors fighting in Ukraine are total fabrications, [and a] blatant pretext for interference," Lungescu wrote on Twitter.

 Alexander Vershbow, NATO Deputy Secretary General, an almost identical tweet, saying that the Russian media fabricate reports on involvement of alliance representatives in the operations in Ukraine.

Moreover, NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe General Philip Breedlove wrote on Twitter: “Claims of NATO troops fighting in Ukraine are completely false. Up to Russia to take responsibility and seek a peaceful resolution.”

As reported, a group of unidentified individuals seized a bus carrying OSCE observers at the entrance to Sloviansk (Donetsk region) early on April 25 and convoyed it to the town, the press office of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry has reported.

OSCE previously reported that among the detainees in Sloviansk are members of a military verification mission who had arrived at the invitation of the Ukrainian authorities under the Vienna Document of 2011. These are citizens of Germany, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Poland, and Sweden.
