NATO not planning to deploy military bases in Ukraine, says secretary general

NATO is not planning to deploy military bases on Ukraine's territory, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said. "No. I have no information concerning such plans," he said on Ekho Moskvy radio on Wednesday.

This is bad news -we need NATO or our own nuclear sheild, which Kravchuk so foolishly gave up, to keep the Russian Bear at bay.

There have never been plans to base NATO forces in Ukraine. Thats just the bogeyman the kremlin spin artists use to agitate the old ladies in Sevastopol.
