You're reading: NCER keeps ceiling gas price for industrial consumers unchanged in August

he National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has kept the ceiling gas price for industrial consumers and budget-funded institutions unchanged at Hr 6,600 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT, tariffs for transportation, distribution and supply).

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the regulator made its decision at a meeting in Kyiv on July 30.

According to the law on the gas market, from Oct. 1, 2015 onward the NCER will not set the ceiling gas price for industrial consumers and budget organizations.

The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation regulates the activity of monopoly entities in the fields of energy, heating supply, central water supply and drainage, oil and gas industries, solid waste treatment, and implements state price and tariff setting policies in these sectors.
