The new annual plan of cooperation between Ukraine and NATO must take into account current terrorist threats in Ukraine, Minister of Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak has said.

“We believe that NATO must coordinate annual cooperation plan with us
and take into account the circumstances Ukraine is in today,” Semerak
said at a briefing on July18.

He noted that the project of annual program of Ukraine-NATO
cooperation had been considered by the government the week before, but
it hadn’t been adopted. “According to the members of government, the
program didn’t fully correspond with the actual situation, reality of
the conflict and terrorist threats on certain Ukrainian territories,”
minister said.

Thus, the document was sent to be improved.

Before adopting the national cooperation program, it has to be agreed with NATO.
