Nine Ukrainian military service members have been killed in the military-operation zone in east Ukraine over the past 24 hours, according to the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
Also, 20 Ukrainian troops have sustained various injuries, NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Aug. 18.
