KRYVY RIH - The Normandy Group nations (France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine) will hold urgent talks on how to resolve the situation in eastern Ukraine on July 17, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

“It has just been announced that urgent talks will be held in the Normandy format at a telephone conference,” he told senior security and law enforcement officials in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

For his part, his spokesman Sviatoslav Tseholko said that the president was referring to a telephone conversation between the Normandy Group leaders scheduled for July 17 evening.
