Norway has decided to issue 1 million euro in humanitarian aid for Ukraine, Norway's Foreign Minister Borge Brende has said.

During a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin in Kyiv, Brende said that Ukraine is suffering hard times and is in extreme need of funds.

The minister said it was difficult to him to believe, although it is a fact, that now there are about 200,000 internally displaced persons in Ukraine because of the war in the country’s east.
