Moscow - Gazprom has sent already about 200 million-300 million cubic meters of gas to Donbas since February 19, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.
“For now I cannot say the exact number, this is more than 200 million cubic meters, this may even be 300 million cubic meters,” he said.
Gazprom feels that these supplies are being carried out according to the contract with Naftogaz Ukrainy, the contract price with which in Q1 was $329/1,000 cubic meters. So the cost of supplies may amount to around $66 million-$99 million.
However the parties agreed not to count these supplies against Naftogaz Ukrainy’s prepayments for gas supplies to the Ukrainian company.
