The situation in Ukraine was not officially discussed during the ministerial session of the Moscow Energy Forum, but was touched upon behind the scenes, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.
“Questions surrounding Ukraine were not officially discussed, but were touched upon behind the scenes,” he said.
“I was asked questions about gas shipments from Russia to Ukraine and
about guaranteeing transit through Europe. Everyone expressed interest
in quickly finding a way out of the situation,” Novak said.
The fourteenth ministerial session of the Moscow Energy Forum took place in Moscow on the 15th and 16th of May.
