You're reading: Nuland says her Kyiv visit signifies US support for Ukraine

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, during her meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, said that her visit to Kyiv is confirmation of American support for Ukraine on its path towards reform and decentralization.

During the meeting, Nuland said that the United States remains a reliable and true partner to Ukraine in reforming the country and decentralization, as well as in fighting corruption.

She reported that during her visit she will discuss the recent visit of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to Russia.
