Two people have been inured in a shelling of a coke plant and a railway depot in Avdiyivka; a man's body has been found in a burned-down locomotive, Donetsk regional police chief Viacheslav Abroskin said.

“27 direct hits into the grounds of Avdiyivka Coke Plant and the railway depot. As a result of one shell hit, a locomotive caught fire. By now the fire has been contained thanks to the plant employees. A dead man’s body has been found in a damaged locomotive,” he wrote on his Facebook page on May 21.

The injured are a woman, born 1956, and a man, born 1989, he said. Both are employees of the coke plant.

“There is lull now,” the regional police chief stressed.

A team of Avdiyivka police investigators has travelled to the scene.
