One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another one was seriously injured when they hit a trip wire on the outskirts of Stanytsia Luhansk, according to the press service of Hennadiy Moskal, who heads the Kyiv-appointed military-civilian administration of the Luhansk region.

“In the past 24 hours, fighting has taken place at several flashpoints along the line of contact in the Luhansk region. Militants from Vesela Hora fired grenade launchers and mortars on Schastia several times… Power lines were damaged in Troitske [Popasna district, near Debaltseve] after it was shelled from the direction of occupied Kalynove. Half of the village, which receives electricity from the Donetsk region, still encountered a blackout this morning. Repair brigades are working there,” Moskal’s press service said.

Minor shootouts involving automatic weapons broke out on the outskirts of Krymske and in Popasna last night. No civilians and soldiers were hurt.
