The Opposition Bloc has published the list of the top ten candidates for people's deputies of Ukraine for participation in parliamentary elections, with the former deputy prime minister and a top manager in the country's energy and industrial sector, Yuriy Boiko, heading the party's election list, the bloc's press service reported on Sunday Sept. 21.

The party’s top ten also includes Head of the Ukrainian Perspective Foundation Oleksandr Vilkul, former Chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Dobkin, President of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress and Head of the Center Party Vadym Rabinovych, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Development Party of Ukraine Serhiy Larin, ex-CEO of Azovstal Oleksiy Bily, MP Nestor Shufrych, Ukraine-Forward! Party leader Natalia Korolevska, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health Tetiana Bakhteyeva, and First Deputy Head of the National Committee of the Development Party of Ukraine Mykola Skoryk.

‘The Opposition Bloc is a party of peace, and this is our appeal to millions of citizens to unite and preserve the unity of the country and people’s lives,’ the party’s press service quoted Boiko as saying.

He said that the bloc’s participants were not parties, but individual politicians, ‘whose purpose is to preserve Ukraine, protect its citizens, and restore peace on its land.’
