You're reading: OSCE assessment mission arrives in Rostov oblast to study situation of Ukrainian refugees

A three-member assessment mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has arrived in Rostov-on-Don to examine the situation of refugees on the Russian-Ukrainian border, Rostov region government chairman Alexander Titov told Interfax on July 16.

“The OSCE mission consists of three people: from the United Kingdom, the United States and Russia. The chief goal of the trip is to study the situation in parts of the Rostov oblast bordering Ukraine, and to identify a location for the OSCE permanent mission in the Rostov oblast,” he said.

The commission members will be working until July 19.
