You're reading: OSCE didn’t get complaints about encroachments on minorities’ rights in Crimea

After visiting the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Astrid Thors said she does not have any information on encroachments on the rights of national minorities there.

Thors told a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday that none of the
people she had talked to in Crimea said that such things were happening.

Thors also said the legislation on the protection of the rights of
national minorities and language policies and the law on languages stay
in effect and have not been repealed in Ukraine.
