DONETSK - Deputy Head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine Alexander Hug hopes for more productive results during next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.

Mostly attention was paid to the situation in Shyrokyne, during the last meeting of the Contact Group, as well as to the withdrawal of tanks and small-caliber weaponry and other security issues, Hug told Interfax on July 10.

According to him, the discussion of Shyrokyne situation was long, but it yielded no results.

However, he said he hoped that at the next meeting, which would place on July 21, more productive results would be reached.

Hug promised that together with OSCE SMM Chief Monitor Ertugrul Apakan they will be in Minsk to support the search for decisions along the contact line.
