You're reading: OSCE praises Ukraine’s efforts on ensuring voting rights of displaced persons

The leader of the short-term OSCE observer mission, Kent Harstedt, has praised the actions of the Ukrainian authorities on ensuring the voting rights of internally displaced persons in the Oct. 26 parliamentary elections.

He said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday that IDPs did not vote en masse, but there were voters who were able to vote at polling stations.

Harstedt said that OSCE appreciated the work that has been done for this purpose.
